After spending a week at Sierra's house in Iowa, I flew to D.C and met up with Krystalee and her family, Colby met up with us a few days later. While it was just me, KL, the kids and I explored Tudor house, and went to D.C Cupcakes from TLC! When Colby arrived we somehow managed to visit a ton. In three short days, we visited the Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, Vietnam Veterans, Korean War, World War II, and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials. We also visited the National Museums of Natural History, Air and Space and the Smithsonian Zoo. We also visited the Arlington Cemetery, Great Falls National Park, the cathedral in Georgetown, National Gallery of Art and the Rotunda of National Archives. Everything was a very enriching history lesson all three days.

Next, Colby came and we went crazy with D.C sites, Museums and Memorials! It was awesome!

| The Veiled Nun - Corcoran Collection - This was our favorite sculpture because the artist used only one solid piece of marble. I can't believe that someone has the talent to make a rock look like a veil over the person face. Amazing!! I look at it over and over again trying figure out how it id possible. Blows my mind! |

| We rented bikes at night and during day to visit the sites of D.C. The only and best way to get around! Forget walking for this pregnant lady! Move outta the way! |
