Just an update

Colby and I stay really busy with all that we have going on! I thought once we moved down here to the middle of no-where that we would have a hard time finding things to do. But work, friends, and church keep us quite busy. Of course we would much rather go on a quick hike or do some rock climbing; however, we don't have those options during the week. We just have to save that stuff for our weekends, which we don't mind. The past month we have gone to the West Texas Rodeo, the Lubbock temple and an apple festival. Then I spent a couple of weeks in Colorado watching my youngest siblings while my parents went on a cruise in the Caribbean.

We have a lot events and parties coming up for this month of October.October is one of my most favorite parts of the year. I love the fall season, smells, and decorations and of course Halloween! I love dressing up. I wish the leaves changed color here :( It is what saddens me the most this time year. But hey, it's finally cooling down! It was in the sixties today and it was heavenly! Enjoy the pics!

They have big flags and big everything in Texas

Colby and I volunteered for family science night at the Petroleum museum. We made m&m color wheels with the kids!
Beautiful Lubbock Temple
Apple Festival. We made apple pies and apple dumplings :)
Creepy, fuzzy spider eating a fly!
 Watching my siblings in Colorado.....

We went to Petsmart and bought a goldfish for their fish tank. I told them to smile, but they wanted to be goofy instead!
Katie made homemade applesauce in her preschool class. She wanted everyone to try it and even fed it to her older siblings!

Saying goodbye to my dogs! Zeus (the one on my left) is 13 years old and may not be there when I come back for Christmas :(

I'm so glad my parents were able to go on this cruise. The last time they went on a trip with no kids was when I was in 5th grade!!! That was 13 years ago! They definitely deserved it. I am proud to call them my parents and I really appreciate all that they have taught me and continue to teach me. I am so blessed to have a forever family!

Pretty good for a selfie :)
