Quick side note: I will be blogging about our Grand Canyon Rafting Trip as soon as we get everyone's pictures and videos. I still have yet to see everything, but I am so excited to see alll the footage!
Now onto the great news we have!!! Drum Roll Please.................
Colby got a JOB with CHEVRON as a Geoscientist (so smart!)!!! We are so excited and happy! The whole summer Colby worked very hard for Chevron as an intern and gave a wonderful presentation. We knew there was a possibility to be offered a job after the internship, but we had to wait for 3 weeks to find out! It was not so bad waiting until the last week when we knew people would start getting called. We sat around for 4 days just waiting, waiting, and hoping Colby would get the call. And lo and behold, Thursday afternoon they called and told Colby the greats news! Thank you to all who fasted and prayed and continued to pray for Colby to get this opportunity. We are so blessed! We will be moving from Utah to Texas sometime after December. We are excited to start this new chapter in our lives. Thank you Chevron!!
Now onto some summer fun! After the rafting trip we have been spending some time in Colorado. Last weekend we went to the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. We had a great time and enjoyed the heavy rain clouds overhead (that never broke), and the nice hot spring water. The hot springs we liked best were set up along the creek with pools made from the rocks, but they also had pools that were fed by the hot spring water complete with a water slide! We had some great fun!
