Virginia and Baby Blessings {1.30.16 - 2.6.16} & {2.12.16 - 2.14.16}

Southwest was having an amazing deal on plane tickets, so I took a trip to see my sister-in-law, Krystalee and her family. It was great timing because she just had another little one this past December, so I was able to visit, but also help with the kiddos when I could. Although it was winter we still went to lots of parks and played outside when the weather allowed us to. My one week visit came and went quickly, but we had a great time!

We ended the week at the beautiful D.C. Temple! 

Lucky for me I was able to see KL (Krystalee) and the family again over Valentines weekend because they flew to Texas to bless their baby girl, Vera Jean. On our drive over to Dallas we stopped at Dinosaur Valley State Park and saw fossilized dinosaur tracks!

We also went to Cedar Hill State Park and walked through an old farm from the early 19th century.

While in Dallas we drove past several of these mini land slides. And yes, we pulled over to take pictures. That's when you know you're married to a geologist!

My mother-in-law made the skirt and KL crocheted the blouse and headband. It turned out so cute and adorable!
